SIX REPORTS
In development
One ticker, six reports
We take the numbers a company reports about itself and put them through six sets of checks.
Coverage is every company that files with the SEC. Foreign filers report once a year and in their own currency, so some checks read “unknown”.
The six reports
Each report asks its own question and gives its own answer. When two of them disagree, you see both, not an average.
01
Is it cheap and safe versus assets?
02
Is this a great business at a fair price?
03
Is the growth worth the price?
04
Is the payout safe and the yield high for this stock?
05
Are the numbers honest?
06
Is the market already buying it?
Every number and every answer is worked out in code. The written part only explains numbers that are already set.
We use the figures a company publishes in its own yearly and quarterly reports, plus its share price. Each report lists what it used.
You get one plain sentence and the number of checks the company passed. There is no grade, and no single number across the six.
